Philippa finds another king under another car park….!

The phenomenal Philippa Langley, finder of lost monarchs, is at it again! If you go here you’ll read that she has now discovered Henry I, and guess what? He too is under a car park. In his case it isn’t Greyfriars but the much grander Reading Abbey….albeit in a part that is now the car park of Reading Prison!

As she says in this post :-

“….‘For a long time it was believed the grave of Henry I, the son of William The Conqueror, was under a nursery school building, but from my research it looks like he is under the car park of Reading Prison, so it’s another king in a car park, and it looks like Henry is buried under the letter K for king, which would be hilarious.’ ….”

Indeed it would.

So now we await another great announcement. Will it have the excitement and kudos of the discovery of Richard III. No. Is it another amazing achievement? Oh yes.

    1. But this is not good for Richard III 😦 The first “King Under the Parking Lot” sold well and series has been renewed for a second season. Show Business 😉
